2020 Operation Take Back


The Wayne Police Department will be holding the annual DEA Operation Take Back prescription pill collection initiative on Saturday October 24th, of 2020 (between 10:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M.) in front of the main entrance lobby area of Wayne Police Headquarters located at Town Hall.

This DEA sponsored initiative provides Wayne Twp. residents with an opportunity to safely dispose of any unwanted, unused and expired prescription medications (pills) in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. *Please secure all prescription pills in a clear plastic, Ziploc bag prior to responding to Wayne Police Headquarters.*

Note: For the purpose of ensuring public health/safety, appropriate social distancing will be maintained and all residents dropping off prescription medications will be required to wear an appropriate face covering (mask).
