Statistical Analysis

The analysis is broken down into Reported and Founded calls for service. Reported calls represent the total amount of calls investigated by police and include calls where the investigation process revealed no crime occurred or no service was performed. Founded calls represent the total amount of calls where the investigation process revealed an actual crime occurred or service was performed.

The calls for service are categorized into Uniform Crime Report (UCR) offenses. UCR is a federal standard categorizing all criminal and disorderly activity into a standard used throughout the country.  Additionally, Police Services that are not crimes are also listed.
