Wayne Waves Swim Team

The Wayne Waves Swim Team is the official swim team of the Township of Wayne. It has existed for over 20 years as a lake team using North Cove as its home, where they swim from the end of June to the beginning of August. They have two very experienced coaches who were previously part of the team.

Meets are on Wednesday nights (50 meters only) and Friday mornings (25 and 50 meters). You do not need to be a "club" swimmer to join the team, with members ranging from 5 years old to 18 years old. Many of the members have been on the team for over 10 years, starting out young and moving on to college when they are done. Some even come back and have their own children swim for the team.

At the end of the season, the members are given a party with awards and gifts. A fun time is had by all. Don't miss out on this rewarding experience for your child. Great summer memories are made by being a part of the Wayne Waves Swim Team.

Friends of Wayne Swim Team:

The Friends of Wayne Swim Team (FOWST) is the parent organization of the Team. They are an integral part of running the Team, especially at meets. They plan all the activates for the Team so our coaches can coach our children.

There is a $15.00 family fee to join FOWST. This fee helps to offset the cost of ribbons and trophies for our meets and our end of the year party.
