Create and Send a New Message

To create and send a new e-mail message:

  1. From the Inbox, click on the New toolbar button. A new message window appears.

  1. If the you know the recipient's e-mail address, then type it in the To field and skip to step 5. Otherwise, click on the To button. The Find Names window appears.

  2. In the Last name field, type the last name of the recipient (Monmouth College students, faculty, or staff only) and then click on the Find button. The recipient's name appears.

  1. Click on the recipient's name in the list and then click on the To button. The recipient's name appears in the To field on the new message window.

To Button

  1. Type your message.

  2. Click on the Send toolbar button. The e-mail message is sent and a copy of it appears in your Sent Items folder.
