Create a New Outlook Folder

To create a new Outlook folder:

  1. If the folder list is not already open, then, on the Navigation pane, click on the Show/Hide Folders button. All of the Outlook folders display.

  1. Click on the down arrow next to the New toolbar button and select Folder. The Create New Folder -- Web Page Dialog window appears.

  1. In the Name field, enter a name for the folder.

  1. Click on the folder in which you want to put the new folder or, if you do not want the folder to be located inside of another folder, then click on the top folder in the Folder List. The selected folder is highlighted.

  1. Click on the OK button.

  1. Click on the Update all folders button. The new folder appears in the folder list.
