Create a New Appointment

To create a new calendar appointment:

  1. If the Calendar folder is not already open, then, on the Navigation pane, click on the Go to calendar button. The Calendar folder opens.

  1. Click on the New toolbar button. A new appointment window appears.

  1. In the Subject field, enter a title for the appointment.

  2. In the Location field, enter the location for the appointment.

  3. Click on the Start time down arrows and select the date and time that the appointment will begin.

  4. Click on the End time down arrows and select the date and time that the appointment will end.

  5. If you want to change the reminder time, then click on the Reminder down arrow and select a different time.

    Note: If do not want a reminder, then uncheck the Reminder checkbox.

  6. If you want to the appointment time to be marked on your calendar as Free, Tentative, or Out of the Office, then click on the Show time as down arrow and select the desired option.

  7. If desired, enter a description of the appointment.

  8. Click on the Save and Close toolbar button. The appointment is added to your calendar.
