About Outlook Web Access 2003

Outlook Web Access 2003 provides access to your e-mail and other Outlook folders via the Web.

Many of the same tasks that you perform in Outlook may be performed in Outlook Web Access 2003.

When you log on to Outlook Web Access, your Inbox (1) appears, as shown below.

To the right of the Inbox is the Reading pane (2), which shows the contents of the selected message.

Note: You can reposition or turn off the Reading pane by clicking on the Show/Hide Reading Pane toolbar button, shown circled in red below.

To the left of the Inbox is the Navigation pane (3).

At the top of the Navigation pane is the Show/Hide Folders button, shown circled in red below. Clicking on this button displays a list of all of your Outlook folders.

At the bottom of the Navigation pane are shortcut buttons for the Inbox, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, Public Folders, Rules, and Options.

Note: You can expand the area that contains the shortcut buttons by clicking on the Enlarge Button Bar/Shrink Button Bar, shown circled in red below.
