Our Nurses do their best to keep infants, children, and adults in tiptop shape! Our Health Educator strives to keep everyone updated as to the latest health information available. Our Sanitarians do everything possible to keep our food and environment clean and safe.  At the Wayne Health Department our goal is to work together, as a team, to prevent illness and improve the health of our community. With that in mind, we have designed programs, clinics, and screenings to promote, gain, and maintain good health.

All programs are held in the Health Department at the Municipal Building, unless otherwise noted.

Blood Pressure Screening

*Child Health Conference

This clinic is offered to Wayne Township infants through age 18 who qualify (determined by a financial screening of the family).  The screening included a full examination of the child and age appropriate immunizations performed by pediatrician Dr. E. Eisenstein, from St. Josephs's Hospital and Medical Center.  Periodic hemoglobin, urinalysis, lead screening, vision, hearing, and TB tests are conducted.  At each clinic session, parents are counseled about growth, development, nutrition, and safety.  For more information, please contact 973-694-1800 x3373.
