IF EVERYONE WOULD GIVE JUST $10...

Please remember the simple but ever so important message that we all learned from the tragic events of September 11^th, 2001, and the spirit of giving that emerged from the depths of this tragedy:

If everyone gives just $10, you can raise a billion dollars!

Our shelter animals rely on your donations for their shelter, food and ongoing care.
They rely upon your donation to end their abuse, suffering and neglect.
They rely on your donations for the hope of a home and new life.

There is hope for those who pass through our doors. Please help us keep that hope alive! Any donation, no matter how small, is always appreciated and put to good use to help the animals in our care.

Interested in donating daily use items? The following items are needed each and every day:

Kitten, cat and dog food – canned or dry.
Cat litter and cat toys.
Baby food – chicken or turkey, strained.
Paper towels and other cleaning materials.
Cleaning supplies – detergents and bleach.
Garbage bags – tall kitchen and large trash.
Clean towels, blankets or new rug samples.
Rubber Kong toys for dogs.

Do you work for a large corporation, have school-aged children or belong to a church or synagogue? If so, please consider holding a Pet Drive for our shelter animals. This can be as simple as placing a large box or container in a high traffic area and requesting donations of pet supplies for the Shelter.

Have an old cell phone you’re no longer using? If you have a spare mobile phone sitting on a shelf or in a draw, you can recycle it in an environmentally and socially responsible manner through CollectiveGood. You can:

Preserve the environment by keeping your used mobile phone out of a landfill and by recycling it back into reuse.
Help raise funds for the Shelter in the process.
Put that spare mobile phone into reuse for people in the developing world.
Be rewarded for your good deed with a thank you letter and tax-deduction for your in-kind donation to the Shelter.

BEQUESTS...

As animal lovers, many of us have expressed a desire to continue to help animals after we are gone. This desire must be in writing in your will. We simply cannot leave these important decisions to be sorted out by family and friends. We never know what tomorrow will bring, but your donation to our shelter will help you live on though our animals. If you wish to make the Shelter a beneficiary in your will, we recommend the following wording: “I give and bequeath to the Friends of Wayne Animals, Wayne, New Jersey, the sum of $_____ for the general care and protection of animals in its care."
