Wayne Emergency Radio, AM 1690, broadcasts notifications of emergent situations affecting the Township. The system is a special low power broadcast approved by the FCC designed primarily for on-street or outdoor coverage. They system also monitors the National Weather Service and automatically re-broadcasts any weather related notifications in our area. Additionally, since the system is a special low power broadcast design for on street coverage, we also stream the broadcast on the Internet.
